MUMBAI: If you are a B-school aspirant preparing for the globally accepted
GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) in the near future, you may no longer need to pore over heavy textbooks and question banks. You will soon be able to download the preparation material as an application on your
iPhone, iPod or even your
iPad, thanks to a tie-up between GMAT and Apple.
Not only will the application allow students tosolve questions that are included in the official GMAT test preparation book, including questions that have appeared in previous GMAT exams on your Appledevice, but it will also give them a chance to appear for mock tests and comparescores with others using the GMAT app. The application will have an inbuilttimer that will help students keep pace while writing the test.
Thedevice will even track a student's performance over time. The application isintegrated with social media sites such as GMAT's official blog, as well as itsTwitter and Facebook profile.
GMAT has inked the deal with Apple andprovided the company with all the necessary inputs. The application will be madeavailable the moment Apple is ready with the product. TOI had access to a testversion of the application on an iPhone.
