The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has started the registration process for the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, comedk.org. The entrance exam will be conducted on May 9, 2026, in computer-based mode. The test is held for admission to undergraduate engineering courses offered by participating private colleges in Karnataka.
Candidates who have passed or are appearing in Class 12 are eligible to apply, subject to meeting the other requirements. It is recommended that students fill out the application form very carefully and submit it well before the deadline. All major notifications such as admit card and counselling information will be published on the official website.
The online registration window opened on February 3, 2026. Candidates must fill out the application form on comedk.org within the given deadline mentioned in the notification. The application process is fully online.
To apply, candidates must register using a valid email ID and mobile number. After registration, they need to fill in personal details, academic information, and select exam cities. Applicants must upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format. The application fee has to be paid online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Candidates should review all details before final submission. Once submitted, the form cannot be edited beyond the correction window, if provided.

Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects. In addition, candidates must have studied one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics.
General category candidates must have secured at least 45 per cent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates belonging to reserved categories of Karnataka must have secured a minimum of 40 per cent aggregate marks in these subjects.
There is no age limit to apply. Candidates from across India are eligible to appear for the examination.
COMEDK UGET 2026 will be conducted in computer-based mode. The duration of the exam will be three hours. The question paper will have 180 multiple-choice questions. There will be 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
