Chhattisgarh Teacher recruitment 2021: State to fill up 14,580 vacancies soon

RAIPUR: After a wait of almost two years, the state government has given its nod to issue appointment orders for direct recruitment of 14, 580 teachers under the school education department.
A department spokesperson informed that the consent has been received after receiving confirmation from the finance department. In order to this effect has been issued by the department of school education on Saturday.
In the order issued by the school education department to the directorate of the public instruction commission, it has been stated that the appointment orders should be issued individually. Besides, it should be clearly mentioned in the appointment order that the probation period and the salary payable during the probation period will be as per the instructions of the finance department.
Meanwhile, the examination for these posts was conducted by CG Vyapam for the appointment of teachers of various cadres. The results of the examination conducted were declared on September 30, 2019, and November 22, 2019. The appointments were to be made on the basis of the merit list issued by Vyapam. However, due to nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus last year, instructions were issued by the finance department that the process of appointments prevalent in the departments would continue, but it would be necessary to obtain consent from the finance department before issuing the appointment order.
Accordingly, the matter was sent by the school education department to the finance department for concurrence. The finance department later gave consent for the appointment of the posts of teachers with certain conditions.
