The Central Bank of India has further extended the last date for applying online for the Specialist Officer recruitment drive through the Central Bank of India Recruitment 2026. Candidates can now apply for the recruitment drive by completing the online registration process until February 15, 2026.
The recruitment drive is conducted to fill 350 regular vacancies in two specialist posts, namely Marketing Officer in Scale I and Foreign Exchange Officer in Scale III. The recruitment drive has been extended as the last date for applying online was February 3, 2026.
Vacancies notified under the recruitment driveThe Central Bank of India recruitment notification is clear about the vacancies notified for the recruitment drive. A total of 300 vacancies have been notified for Marketing Officer, and 50 vacancies have been notified for Foreign Exchange Officer. Both of these vacancies will be filled under the Specialist Category on a regular basis.

Eligibility criteria and age limitsFor the Marketing Officer position, the candidate must have a graduation degree from an AICTE or UGC recognized institution with a full-time MBA or postgraduate diploma in marketing. The candidate must also have two years of post-qualification experience, including one year of continuous experience in the marketing field in the BFSI or related industries.
The candidate applying for the Foreign Exchange Officer position must have a graduate degree and relevant experience in foreign exchange or trade finance.
The age limit for Marketing Officer applicants is 22 to 30 years, and for Foreign Exchange Officer applicants, it is 22 to 35 years, as per the eligibility criteria.
Application fee and selection processThe application fee for SC, ST, PwBD, and women candidates is Rs. 175, and for all other candidates, it is Rs. 850. The selection process will include an online examination and an interview. The online examination is scheduled to be held in February/March 2026.
