CBSE Class 10th, 12th admit card 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to release the Class 10 and Class 12 admit cards for regular students very soon as the board examinations are scheduled to start from February 17, 2026. If we look at the pattern of previous year, CBSE normally issues hall tickets 5, 6 days before the first paper.

The board has given the private candidates their admit cards. When the schools have these hall tickets for regular students, they can download the same from the official website of CBSE, cbse. gov. in, and give it to the students. Students won't be given permission to take any paper without a valid admit card.

CBSE has clearly stated that candidates who do not bring their hall tickets will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Students must carry their admit cards on all the exam days while appearing for the board examinations of CBSE Class 10 and 12. The hall ticket is the main ID proof that has the details like roll number, exam centre details, subject-wise date, and instructions for the day of the exam.

CBSE has mandated schools to make sure that the entire set of admit cards are printed clearly, has the official school stamp, and has the authorised signature on them. Any hall ticket without these validations will be rejected.

Students, as a matter of precaution, should also keep their admit cards safely after the completion of the exams, as the same document might be needed during the time of result declaration, reevaluation, or admission to the next academic level.
