CBSE Board 10, 12 Supplementary Exam 2024 Dates Out, Registration Begins: Check Schedule and Direct Link to Apply
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently announced the dates for the Supplementary Examinations for both Class 10 and Class 12. Students who couldn't clear certain subjects in their initial attempt of exams can now register for these supplementary exams. The registration process, exam dates, and other important details are mentioned below. The class 10 supplementary examination is scheduled to commence from July 15, 2024, onwards. On the other hand, the class 12 supplementary examination will be conducted only on July 15, 2024.
CBSE Supplementary Exam 2024: Steps to Apply The registration for private candidates has commenced on the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in. Regular school candidates who wish to apply for supplementary or improvement exams must do so through their respective schools. The deadline for registration is June 15, 2024. The process involves filling out necessary details and selecting the subjects for which the student intends to appear in the supplementary exams. To register for the CBSE Board Supplementary Exam 2024, private candidates need to follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the registration link available on the home page.
Step 3: Select the appropriate link for Class 10 or Class 12 supply/improvement.
Step 4: Fill in the required details accurately and click on submit.
Step 5: Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy for future reference.

Submission of LOC for Regular Candidates
For regular school candidates, the school is required to submit their List of Candidates (LOC) through the Pariksha Sangam link available on the CBSE website. Only students whose names are submitted through this online process will be permitted to appear for the supplementary examinations. Schools need to use their affiliation number as a user ID and the password provided to them for logging in to the system and submit the LOC.
CBSE Supplementary Exam Admit Card
The release date for admit cards will be communicated separately by the CBSE board. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates regarding the admit card download process and other relevant information.
Application Fee and Syllabus For CBSE Class 10, 12 Supplementary Exam
For private and regular school candidates, the application fee is ₹300/- per subject in India, ₹1000/- per subject in Nepal and ₹2000/- per subject for candidates outside India. In case of any delays for registering, the candidate can still register by paying an addition of ₹2000/- with the above prescribeed fee.
The supplementary examination will be based on the syllabus prescribed for Board examination for the session 2023-24, which is available on the official CBSE website. Students are advised to thoroughly review the syllabus and prepare accordingly.
