CAT 2024 Correction Window Closes Tomorrow: The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have announced that the application correction window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 is now open, allowing candidates to make necessary adjustments. Candidates have until September 30 to modify specific details on their applications, including photographs, signatures, and city preferences, on the official website at iimcat.ac.in.
The edit window is available exclusively to those who have successfully registered and paid the application fee by the deadline. According to the announcement on the official website, the editing option is available from September 27 at 10 AM until September 30 at 5 PM for candidates who submitted their applications correctly.
To make the required changes, candidates need to log into their dashboards using their credentials. The editable sections on the application form will include only the photograph, signature, and city preferences. It is crucial for applicants to ensure that the uploaded documents meet the specified requirements.
This year, the CAT exam is scheduled for November 24, with various exam centers across the country. Last year, approximately 3.28 lakh candidates registered for the CAT exam, with around 2.88 lakh appearing for it. This reflects a significant increase in registration for MBA entrance exams in 2023, with CAT showing a growth of nearly 30% compared to 2022.
