Application schedule and feeOnline application process begins today and remains active till May 31, 2026 through official BPSC website. Candidates must pay application fee of Rs. 100 online for all categories, while those without Aadhaar must pay additional biometric charge of Rs. 200 as per instructions.
Eligibility and age criteriaCandidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from recognised university, while specific posts such as Financial Administrative Officer require commerce, mathematics, statistics or economics background. Age limits range from 20 to 37 years for general male candidates, 40 for women and backward classes, and 42 for SC ST categories as of August 1, 2026.
Selection process and exam patternSelection will be conducted in two stages, preliminary test and main examination with interview. Preliminary test carries 150 objective questions with two hours duration and negative marking of one third per wrong answer, with mandatory option marking for unattempted questions. Shortlisting will be ten times number of vacancies for mains examination.
Main examination includes General Hindi qualifying paper, two General Studies papers, essay paper and optional subject MCQ, with marks not counted for merit in optional section overall list.
