Bihar Police Constable Result 2025-26 out: CSBC releases merit list for 19,838 posts- direct link to check

The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) on Wednesday declared the Bihar Police Result 2025-26 for the constable recruitment examination. Along with the result, the board has also released the Bihar Police merit list for 19,838 constable posts.

More than 17 lakh candidates had registered for the Bihar Police constable recruitment drive. Out of them, 13,30,121 candidates appeared for the written examination. Following the written examination, the physical efficiency test was organised. The final Bihar Police merit list was prepared on the basis of candidates’ performance in the physical efficiency test.

A total of 19,838 candidates have been selected through the CSBC recruitment process. Among them, 12,509 are male candidates while 7,312 women candidates from Bihar have secured selection. The recruitment process also saw the selection of 17 transgender candidates.

According to officials, 16,852 selected candidates will be appointed in Bihar Police, while 2,986 candidates will join the Bihar Special Armed Police.
