Bank of India recruitment 2025-26: Notification out for 514 Credit Officer posts, application begins on this date
Bank of India has officially released the notification for the Credit Officer Recruitment 2025–26, opening 514 vacancies for experienced officers under its General Banking Officer (GBO) stream. The online application window is scheduled from December 20, 2025, to January 5, 2026, for roles across three management scales – Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II), MMGS-III and Senior Management Grade Scale-IV (SMGS-IV).
Eligible professionals with requisite academic qualifications and banking experience can apply through the official BOI website. The recruitment drive aims to strengthen the bank’s credit operations and risk management capabilities amidst an ongoing expansion in banking sector hiring. Notification details stipulate age limits, scale-wise eligibility, application fees and selection stages involving online tests and interviews.

Educational Qualification

- MMGS-II: 25–35 years
- MMGS-III: 28–38 years
- SMGS-IV: 30–40 years
Experience Requirements
- MMGS-II: Minimum 3 years post-qualification officer experience, with at least 2 years in MSME/Corporate/Commercial credit.
- MMGS-III / SMGS-IV: Progressive experience ranging from approximately five to eight years in credit and banking functions, aligned with managerial expectations.
