AP Intermediate time table 2026 for 1st, 2nd year exams revised: Check new dates here

The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has released a revised timetable for the Intermediate Public Examinations (theory) 2026 for both first-year and second-year students. The revised schedule applies to examinations scheduled to be held in February and March 2026. According to the official notice, the revision has been carried out to ensure that the examination calendar aligns with the final list of general holidays for 2026.

As per the revised timetable, the Intermediate Public Theory Examinations will commence on February 23, 2026, and conclude on March 24, 2026. All theory papers will be conducted in a single forenoon session from 9 am to 12 noon across the state. Students appearing for the examinations are advised to take note of the updated dates and plan their preparation accordingly.

AP Intermediate time table 2026: First-year exam schedule

For first-year students, the examinations will begin with second language papers, including Telugu, Sanskrit, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Oriya, Kannada, Arabic, French, and Persian. This will be followed by English Paper I. Subject-specific examinations such as History, Mathematics, Biology, Economics, Physics, Commerce, and Chemistry will be held on different dates throughout the examination period, as per the revised schedule.

AP Intermediate time table 2026: Second-year exam schedule

Second-year Intermediate students will begin their theory examinations on February 24, 2026, starting with the second language paper. Papers for English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Commerce, Sociology, Fine Arts, and other subjects will be spread across the examination window. As per the revised timetable, Physics Paper II for second-year students is scheduled to be conducted on March 13, 2026.

Backlog exams for Intermediate students

The revised timetable also includes provisions for backlog students. Subject-wise backlog examinations will be conducted alongside the regular theory examinations, allowing eligible candidates to appear without any separate schedule.

Practical exams and additional papers

In addition to the theory examinations, BIEAP has confirmed that the Ethics and Human Values examination will be conducted on January 21, 2026, while the Environmental Education examination is scheduled for January 23, 2026. Practical examinations for general courses will be held from February 1 to February 10, 2026. For vocational courses, practical examinations will be conducted between January 27 and February 10, 2026.

What has changed in the revised AP Intermediate timetable

The timetable released earlier in October 2025 was tentative and subject to modification based on public holidays. The latest notice serves as the revised and final schedule. Key changes include the rescheduling of Day 8 examinations to March 4, 2026, and Day 21 examinations to March 21, 2026. There are no changes to examination timings, syllabus, subjects, or paper pattern.
