The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced a big recruitment for 2026. There are 572 jobs for engineers and technical supervisors. The posts include Assistant City Engineer, Assistant Engineer (Civil), and Sahayak Technical Supervisor. Interested candidates can apply online from January 8 to January 23, 2026. Vacancies and qualifications

Assistant City Engineer requires a B.E. in Civil Engineering with experience, while Assistant Engineer (Civil) also needs a B.E. in Civil Engineering with work experience. Sahayak Technical Supervisor requires either a B.E. in Civil Engineering or a Diploma in Civil Engineering.

The age limit for Assistant City Engineer is up to 37 years, for Assistant Engineer up to 33 years, and for Sahayak Technical Supervisor up to 30 years. Age relaxations are applicable as per government rules.

Salary range for different posts

The salary for Sahayak Technical Supervisor is Rs. 53,100 to 1,67,800, for Assistant Engineer (Civil) it is Rs. 44,900 to 1,42,400, and for Assistant City Engineer the initial salary is Rs. 31,340 for the first three years and then Rs. 29,200 to 92,300.
