​​CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Programme​

The CFA designation is a highly respected qualification in the finance industry. It demonstrates your expertise in investment analysis, portfolio management, and asset valuation. The CFA career is a fantastic alternative to pursue along with a Chartered Accountancy course. The CFA course cannot be started immediately after the 12th. An undergraduate diploma or bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university is required for CFA. There are three levels of this course. You would be required to clear 10 examinations at each level.

This course equips you with in-depth knowledge of corporate law, governance, and compliance. A CS along with a CA qualification makes you a highly sought-after professional for company secretarial roles. Students who have finished their undergraduate or have passed the ICWAI Foundation level course are eligible to pursue this course.

The FRM designation validates your understanding of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies. It's particularly valuable for careers in risk management, internal audit, and financial analysis. Top organizations in India want employees with financial and associated capabilities. A student must possess a bachelor's degree in any stream to pursue FRM. The duration of the FRM courses usually span between 1 and two years.

An MBA provides a well-rounded education in business fundamentals, including finance, marketing, operations, and strategy. It can help you develop leadership and communication skills, making you a strong candidate for senior management positions. For admission to the M.B.A. programme, a candidate must possess a degree from a recognized university. MBA is a two-year post-graduate programme.

Business analytics courses will teach you how to collect, analyze, and interpret data to solve business problems and make data-driven decisions. You must possess a bachelor's degree in any subject to pursue Business Analytics. The duration of this certification programme is one year.

​​CMA (Certified Management Accountant)​

The CMA designation strengthens your competency in cost accounting, financial management, and business strategy. It's ideal for aspirants seeking careers in management accounting, financial analysis, or corporate controllership. You can apply for the CMA course if you have completed your final year of high school, your undergraduate degree in any field other than the fine arts, or you have passed the Foundation of ICSI/Intermediate of ICAI. CMA is a three year course with 10 examination papers.

​​ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)​

The ACCA qualification offers global recognition, making you a strong contender for international finance roles. It covers a broad spectrum of accounting, audit, taxation, and finance topics. This course will provide you with an understanding of UK GAAP and rules and certification to practice as a Certified Accountant (CA) in a variety of countries. You can do ACCA after completing CA Final. A qualified CA receives 9 exemptions. So, qualified CAs are required to attempt only 4 papers of professional level in ACCA. In 6–12 months a CA can Become an ACCA. The course duration of ACCA is two to three years.

​​CPA (Certified Public Accountant)​

The CPA designation is the US equivalent of CA and is highly valued in the North American job market. It opens doors to opportunities in public accounting, corporate finance, and forensic accounting. Candidates in most states may fulfill the 120 credits necessary to sit for the exam by combining a 3-year BCOM (equal to 90 credits) with a CA. The duration of this course in India is 3 to 5 years.

​​Law​

Pursuing a law degree alongside CA opens doors to specialized areas like corporate law, tax law, or intellectual property law. This combination equips you with a strong understanding of both the legal and financial aspects of the business. You can tackle cases on corporate law, civil law, international law, labor law, family law, patent law, etc. B.com LLB is a good course nowadays. You must be clear in your mind and then you can add up CA and CS with any of the one degrees with it. Integrated Law is a 5-year course, while LL. B is a 3-year bachelor's degree.
