NEW DELHI: Board of Secondary Education, Gujarat will start the online application registration for the Teacher Eligibility Test on the official website.
Interested and eligible candidates, can apply online separately for TET 1 and TET 2 starting today i.e., from October 21, 2022. The application link is yet to be activated on the official website.
According to the information, candidates can apply online up to December 5, 2022. The examination date will be announced later.
Candidates who wish to become a primary teacher i.e., for Classes 1 to 5, they attempt the Gujarat TET 1 exam and those who wish to become an upper primary teacher i.e., for Classes 6 to 8 are required to give the GTET 2 exam.
This year, around 3.5 lakh candidates are expected to appear for GTET Exam 2022. For the past four to five years, the government has not conducted TET exams (TET-I and TET-II). While the last time TET 1 examination was held in March 2018, TET 2 examination was held in August 2017.
The G-TET examination for both papers will be conducted for a duration of 150 minutes each and the papers will consist of 150 marks each. In order to qualify the exam, candidates would need to obtain at least 60 per cent marks to get recruited as a government school teacher in Gujarat.

Step 6: Log in to the Gujarat TET official website using your login credentials.
Step 7: Then, in the application form, fill in all of the required information and submit it.
