Following an instruction of Chhattisgarh State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), the CGPEB has now allowed those who have taken admission in the BEd/DEd first semester to apply for the CG TET taking place on September 18. The SCERT had on Wednesday issued a letter to the CGPEB citing the letter it had received from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) allowing clarifying the situation on the first year students of TTC.

The NCTE cited a judgment of the Supreme Court which said that the students getting admission in the TTC and pursuing the same will be eligible for participating in the TET-2022. As the CGPEB extended the date of application allowing the first year students of TTC to take advantage of the TET, thousands of students celebrated the decision. The application can be downloaded from vyapam.cgstate.gov.in.
