The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the 16th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in December 2022.

The test will be conducted in 20 (Twenty) languages throughout the country.


The CTET Computer Based Test 2022 will be conducted in 20 languages throughout the country. About the exam date, the candidates would be intimated later and their exam shift and time will be mentioned on the admit cards. It may be noted that the CTET Admit Card 2022 will be released for those who would pay the exam fee as given below.

The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of the examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET's official website https://ctet.nic.in shortly and the aspiring candidates are requested to download the Information Bulletin from the above-mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying.


The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through the CTET website i.e. https://ctet.nic.in. The dates for the online application process will be intimated during the course of time.

The Validity Period of the CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be for lifetime for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.

CBSE will provide Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) mark-sheets to all candidates and eligibility certificates to successful candidates in Digital Format in their DigiLocker account.

The CTET will send the link of the Question Paper attempted by the candidates on the mail-id provided by the candidates in the online application form after two to three days of the conduct of the examination.
