The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification for the 16th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) i.e., CTET 2022. The CTET 2022 notification was released by the board yesterday i.e., Thursday, October 20 on the official website, ctet.nic.in. According to the CBSE CTET 2022 notification, the exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test - Online (CBT) mode during December 2022 to January 2023 on various announced dates.

CTET 2022 Notification: Application for CET from October 31
Along with this, according to the CTET 2022 notification issued by CBSE, the process of application required to appear in the examination will start from 31st October and interested candidates will be able to submit their applications till 11.59 pm on 24th November 2022. However, after this the candidates will be able to pay the prescribed examination fee on the next day i.e., 25 November 2022 till 11.30 PM. CBSE has fixed Rs 1000 for one paper and Rs 1200 for both the papers for CTET 2022. However, the fee for one paper is Rs 500 for reserved categories (SC, ST and differently-abled) candidates and Rs 600 for both the papers.
Allotment of exam city for CET by 'first come first serve'
Candidates should note that CBSE has announced in the CTET 2022 notification that the allotment of exam city for CTET 2022 will be done on a 'first come and first served' basis. It means that if the candidates want the exam city of their choice from the list of declared exam cities, they should do so as soon as possible without waiting for the last date. Candidates will have to choose the exam city during CTET 2022 application. Also, if a candidate pays the fee after the choice of the exam city and that city is not allotted to him/her due to the maximum number of counts exceeded, the full fee paid to the candidate will be refunded, more details and other details For CTET 2022 refer notification.
