The Tamil Nadu Uniform Service Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has announced the exam schedule for the recruitment of Grade II Police Constables, Jail Warders, and Firemen. The exam will be conducted for a total of 3552 vacancies for the above posts.

Both the Tamil language Eligibility test and the Main Written examination will be held on November 27, 2022.

Vacancies:

• Constable Grade II (Armed Reserved): 2180
• Constable Grade II (Special Force): 1091
• Jail Warder: 161
• Fireman: 120

Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidate should have a minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 26 years as on July 01, 2022
• Upper age relaxation of three years for OBC and five years for SC/ST
• The candidate should have passed class 10th/SSLC (Senior Secondary Leaving Certificate)

About Exam:

• Tamil Language Eligibility Test contains 80 questions
• Main Written Examination contains 70 questions (45 questions- General Knowledge Test & 25 questions- Phycology Test)
• A total of 150 questions is to be attempted in 160 minutes (2 Hrs. 40 mins.)
• The questions of the Tamil Eligibility Test & Main Written Examination will be in a single-question booklet

Salary:

• Constables, Jail Warders, and Firemen: Rs 18200 – 67100/-Per Month

The selection of the candidates will be based on the Written test, Physical Measurement Test, Endurance Test, Physical Efficiency Test, and Certificate Verification.

The starting date of the online form submission to the posts of Grade II Police Constables, Jail Warders, and Firemen was from July 07, 2022, and the closing date of the form submission was August 15, 2022.
