ITBP Recruitment 2022: Application for 40 Head Constable (DV) posts begins, apply here

NEW DELHI: Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has started the online application process for recruitment of Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary) posts.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online as the applications from candidates will be accepted through online mode only. The application registration process will be closed on November 17, 2022, at 11:59 PM.

The ITBP has invited online applications from eligible male and female candidates for filling up the vacancies to the post of Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary) Group C Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) on a temporary basis likely to be permanent in ITBPF. The selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in India and abroad.

The vacancies are tentative and may increase or decrease without any notice. Any change in the number of vacancies will be intimated through the ITBPF Recruitment website - www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.

It may be noted that 10% of vacancies are reserved for ex-servicemen. In case a vacancy reserved for ex-servicemen remains unfilled due to the non-availability of eligible or qualified candidates, the same shall be filled by non-ESM candidates of respective categories.

ITBP HC Recruitment 2022: Selection Process

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): No marks will be awarded for this test and PET will be qualifying in nature. Candidates have to qualify for each event of PET, those who do not qualify will be eliminated.

Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who qualify for the PET will be screened for Height, Chest and Weight measurements. Those who do not meet the required physical measurements as applicable will be eliminated at this stage. The PET will not be held for Ex-servicemen. However, ex-servicemen will be required to qualify for the requisite PST, written examination and medical examination.

Written Examination: The candidates who qualify for Physical Standard Test (PST) will be required to undergo a written examination. The written examination carrying 100 marks will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
