BPSC 67th Prelims 2022 revised result released on bpsc.bih.nic.in, 15 more candidates qualify for mains
NEW DELHI: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the revised results for the 67th Prelims examination 2022. As per the result, 15 more candidates have qualified the 67th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Re-examination.
The result of the 67th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Re-examination was published on November 17, 2022.
After the publication of the result, some candidates objected to the General Studies question booklet series - A question number - 49 (Question booklet series - B question number - 80, question booklet series - C question number - 84, and question booklet series - D Question No. 130) about the difference between the English and Hindi versions of the question.
After review by the subject experts, it was found that according to the structure of the question in the English version, the answer to this question is Option-E. In contrast, according to the Hindi version, the answer is 'Yashwant Sinha'.
The Committee allowed the answer option - E in all the question booklets. As a result of marking answer option - E, one mark has been increased. Therefore, as per the revised cut-off marks, the following 15 candidates, who got the cut-off marks of different categories, have been declared successful for the 67th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Re-examination.
The candidates, who have qualified preliminary examination, are eligible to appear for the Mains exam. The BPSC 67th mains exam 2022 will be conducted on December 29, 30 and 31, 2022. There will be two papers on December 29, 2022, the first paper from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Successful candidates must fill out the BPSC 67th Mains exam application form, which is available on the official website - https://www.bpsc.bih.nic.in/.
The Commission will conduct the selection process in three stages - Prelims, Mains, and Interviews. For selection, the candidates would be required to clear all three rounds.
