Bihar STET Registration 2024: Application window to open from 4.30 PM today, check important details here

Bihar STET 2024: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the notification for the Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test, STET 2024. Interested candidates can apply for the teacher eligibility test from today onwards, December 14, 2023. In 2023, the Bihar government announced a massive hiring drive for the position of school teachers.Applicants who possessed DElEd qualifications and met the eligibility criteria for the STET exam were eligible to submit their applications.
As per the official schedule, the BSEB STET 2024 application process will begin today, December 14, 2023, at 4:30 PM. The last date to apply for the Bihar STET 2024 is January 02, 2024. The examination board will announce the date of the STET 2024 examination in due course of time.
Educational Qualification
The educational qualification for STET 2024 Paper I and Paper II is different.
STET 2024 Paper I: Bachelor's degree and D.Ed in the respective subject.
STET 2024 Paper II: Master's degree and B.Ed in the respective subject.

Exam Pattern
STET Paper 1: The exam consists of objective multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark, totaling 150 marks, with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes, and no negative marking for incorrect answers. The relevant subjects include Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science.
STET Paper 2: The exam will have a total of 150 objective multiple-choice questions, each correct answer carrying 1 mark, with a time duration of 2.5 hours, and no negative marking for incorrect responses. The relevant subjects include English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, and Computer Science.

Step 4. Upload scanned copies of necessary documents

Application Fee
Candidates from the General, OBC, or EWS categories need to pay an application fee of Rs. 960/- if applying for either Paper I or Paper II and Rs. 1140/- if applying for both papers. For SC/ST category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 760/- for either Paper I or Paper II and remains Rs. 1140/- for both papers.
