Students have to report at the help centers with their documents from October 27 to November 2, the statement said.
In the first round of admissions 1,129 students of the total 1,774 admitted students had reported to help centers and confirmed their admissions. There are a total 1,806 PG medical seats in the state.

On September 20, the Gujarat Intern Doctors' Association and Gujarat MBBS Students' Association filed a writ petition in Gujarat high court against the state health department’s decision to admit MBBS students who have completed their Class 12 from Gujarat but did their MBBS in other states in the state quota of post graduation.
Medical students associations had said that so far only the students who have completed MBBS in Gujarat and who are of domicile of Gujarat were eligible for getting admission in state quota PG medical. However, the state government has now decided to allow students who completed MBBS outside Gujarat to take part for both government and private PG seats of Gujarat.
