Important update for the students who are preparing for next year's NEET PG 2023. The NEET PG 2023 exam to be conducted during the month of April-May will be the last for the selection of candidates for admission to medical post-graduate courses in the year 2023. After this, now the National Exit Test (NExT) will be conducted for MBBS students, on the basis of which admission will be given in the further sessions. According to an update of news agency, information was shared in the meeting of the National Medical Commission (NMC) held on Monday, 7 November 2022 that the Union Health Ministry was informed about the conduct of the National Exit Test in December 2023.
NEET PG 2023: Admission will be done in this batch through National Exit TestAfter the decision of NMC for PG admission through National Exit Test instead of NEET PG, if the examination is conducted at the proposed time, then the students of 2019-2020 batch will be able to appear in this examination. At the same time, based on the results of this examination, students will be able to take admission in various PG medical courses for the year 2024-24 batch.
NEET PG 2023: National exit test will be required for MBBS degree, PG admission and practiceAs per the NMC Act, henceforth the National Exit Test, which will be conducted as a qualifying exam for final year MBBS students, will be required for those licensed to practice modern medicine and admission to PG courses will be done on the basis of performance in it. In addition, graduates with medical degrees from abroad will be allowed to practice in the country only through the National Exit Test.
NEET PG 2023: AIIMS Delhi may conduct National Exit TestAlong with this, as per agency update National Exit Test (NExT) may be conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi instead of National Board of Examinations (NBE). However, a final decision in this regard is yet to be taken.
