A bench of Justices DY Chandrachud and Hima Kohli reportedly mentioned that the Supreme Court would not interfere with the NEET PG Counselling 2022 as it cannot put students' lives in jeopardy. The point was raised in the apex court with the hope of some clarification when a counsel mentioned a matter regarding NEET PG.

As per a report, judges were hearing a matter related to writ petition challenging the decision of National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBE) to not release NEET-PG 2022 answer key and question papers. The plea was filed in the Supreme Court by the petitioner alleging serious discrepancies in the scores of the candidates who took the medical test. The petition has been filed by candidates who allege that there are some major issues in their NEET PG 2022 scores and the NBE is not helping them to resolve the issue.

The doctors have sought the release of the question paper and answer key for NEET PG 2022, and to provide the option of re-evaluation to the candidates. The registration process for NEET-PG round 1 seat allotment will take place between September 01 to September 04, 2022 until 12 noon and the fees can be paid till 8 pm.
