GATE 2023 Registration window closes today, apply now at gate.iitk.ac.in

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kanpur has extended the registration window for GATE 2023. AS per the revised schedule, the last date to register for the exam is October 04, 2022. Candidates who wish to apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering this year can register themselves online on or before the last date of regular registration.In order to apply online, candidates are required to login on the official website - gate.iitk.ac.in using their credentials.
As mentioned on the official GATE portal, closing date of regular online registration/ application process is Friday, September 30, 2022 but has been been extended till October 04, 2022. It means candidates can fill the GATE application form 2023 without late fee till Tuesday and after that they will have to pay the late fee to apply. This year, IIT Kanpur is the organising institute for GATE.

GATE 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, candidates must ensure that they meet the criteria.
A candidate who is currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any UG degree course or has already completed any government approved degree course in Engineering/ Architecture/ Technology/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts is eligible to appear for the GATE exam 2023.

GATE 2023 Registration: Documents required
- High quality image of candidate's photograph.
- High quality image of candidate's signature.
- Scanned copy of Category (SC/ST) certificate in PDF format (if applicable).
- Scanned copy of PwD Certificate in PDF format (if applicable).
- Scanned copy of Certificate of Dyslexia in PDF format (if applicable).
- Scanned copy of a valid photo Identity document such as Aadhar-UID (preferable), Passport, Voter ID, PAN Card and Driving License (mentioning Name, Date of birth of the candidate and unique Photo ID number. This is must be carried in original to the exam centre for verification).

GATE 2023: How to register
Step 1: Visit the official website - gate.iitk.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the 'Login' button.
Step 3: A new window would open, enter your login details such enrolment ID and password and click on 'Submit'.
Step 4: On a new page, fill in all the details, as asked.
Step 5: Check all the details carefully and then submit the application.
Step 6: Download and save the GATE 2023 Application Form.
