Things to Keep in Mind- The candidates would still be able to take the WBJEE exam in 2023 even if they do not meet the requirements for domicile eligibility. They will only be able to apply for a certain number of seats, though.
- Additionally, eligibility for domicile is required for the tuition fee waiver (TFW) programme.
- Candidates who filed for seats in their domicile but were unable to provide the certifications will be disqualified.

WBJEE Application Age LimitThe following is the age restriction for applicants taking the WBJEE in 2023.
- The candidates must meet the minimum age requirement of 17 as of December 31, 2023.
- Candidates have to be born on or before December 12, 2006, to be eligible. No maximum age is set.
- Candidates who are interested in applying for Marine Engineering must be at most 25 years old as of December 31, 2023.
WBJEE Academic Qualifications Required- Must have passed the 10+2th (or equivalent) exam administered by a board that is approved by the federal and state governments.
- Candidates must have passed Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following as required topics in the qualifying exam: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Computer Applications.
- The aforementioned disciplines, both theoretical and practical, should have been successfully completed individually in regular class mode.
- Candidates who will take the qualifying exam will also be eligible to take the WBJEE 2023 exam.
WBJEE Marks Required- Candidates for the general category should have obtained an overall 10+2th (or equivalent) score of 45% in the three required subjects.
