Engineering remains as the most coveted career path for students in India. Computer science engineering, over the years has emerged as the most sought-after stream within the discipline, with nearly 11 lakh candidates taking the Joint Entrance Examination to take admission into an Engineering college.
Computer science engineering is provided in most colleges in India, under the degree of Bachelor’s of Technology in Computer Science Engineering (BTech CSE).

- Mobile app developer: Mobile app developers design, develop, and maintain mobile applications. They work with a variety of mobile development platforms, such as iOS and Android, to create apps that are both functional and user-friendly.
- Data scientist: Data scientists collect, analyze, and interpret data to extract insights that can be used to improve business decisions. They work with a variety of data analysis tools and techniques, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Software tester: Software testers are responsible for testing software applications to identify and fix bugs. They work with a variety of testing tools and techniques to ensure that software is free of defects before it is released to production.
Some of the most reputed business houses recruit developers from India, such as Accenture, Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services, IBM, Google, Amazon; the list goes on.
