Delhi school hosts 38th IPSC aquatic championship for girls U-17 & U-19

The 38th IPSC Aquatic Championship for Girls U-17 & U-19 concluded at The Mann School, Delhi, with 180 swimmers competing. Tisha Verma and Apoorva Sharma were named Best Swimmers in U-19 and U-17 respectively. Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School and Modern School clinched team titles.

The All India 38th IPSC Aquatic Championship (Girls U-17 & U-19) concluded on a spirited note at The Mann School, Delhi, bringing together 180 swimmers from 18 leading IPSC schools across India for three days of intense competition.The championship featured 35 events showcasing skill, endurance, and sportsmanship. Tisha Verma (DPS R.K. Puram) and Apoorva Sharma (YPS Mohali) emerged as the Best Swimmers in the U-19 and U-17 categories, respectively. Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School, Jaipur (U-17) and Modern School, Barakhamba Road (U-19) secured team victories.The opening ceremony was graced by Dr. Bhagwan Dass, Deputy Director of Education (GNCT Delhi), and Anita Chaudhary, District Coordinator (North West A). The closing ceremony, attended by Prof. Dr. Amarendra P. Behera, Joint Director, CIET-NCERT, celebrated the athletes’ achievements and The Mann School’s commitment to nurturing both mind and body.
