What do you if you suddenly bump into Mohammad Kaif as you stroll into a mall? You scream and you clap. That''s just what 500-odd surprised youngsters gathered at the DT City Centre Mall in Gurgaon did when the fittest member of the Indian team materialised unannounced at the Dew Dares roadshow.
While the dares at this event organised by Mountain Dew, in association with AXN and Radio Mirchi, may not be of the death-defying variety, they are designed to get your adrenaline pumping hard -- get tossed around on the back of a raging bull or attempt a lumberjack trick on a rotating barrel. With sufficient goading from the crowd, Kaif got adventurous and jumped from the Dew monster truck right on to the automated bull, evoking thunderous applause and frenzied shouts. Then he stepped aside to watch some of the participants take the initial dare and go on to ''Call of the Dew'' -- replicating stunts with trained BMX stuntmen.
The roadshow will be travelling to several more locations in town, giving away free stuff and adventure trips as it shortlists candidates for the grand finale on June 11. The grand finalist wins a scuba diving trip to Thailand. Howzzat, dude?
