The host didn’t stick to the dress code: The host had something to hide at this do. The invite read, ‘To celebrate the monsoon, you are invited to a pool side party’. But it was actually the eve of host Naveen Khanna’s birthday.He just wanted the guests to enjoy the party, without making a big deal about his birthday.
But he also had some explaining to do. The dress code was swimwear, skirts or shorts, and there were hardly any people who followed it – not even the host! “I didn’t expect too many people to stick to it,” explained Naveen. “But since some people are following it, I think I’ll go and change.” That’s more like it, birthday boy!
A Tattoo subject: Raquel Novais caught many an eye at the party, but she also made other people get attention – by tattooing them.

Groovy birthday: Apart from tattoos, the Salsa dancing was the other high point of the evening. After a tiring session of Salsa, the guests took a break and cooled off with cold drinks. Sunny and Anushka were the only people who stuck to the dress code. “And we’re glad that we did!” exclaimed Sunny.
Happy birthday eve? When we asked Naveen why he held a party on the eve of his birthday, he said, “I love this place and it’s going to be renovated from tomorrow. So I thought, why not celebrate today?” That was smart of you, Naveen!
