YSRC seeks arrest of MLA over cockfight

VISAKHAPATNAM: Defying High Court orders, several cockfights were conducted in the city on Sunday, with Vizag East MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu and some other political leaders too rumoured to be in attendance at a cockfight at Ramakrishnapuram area under Arilova police station limits in Vizag city.
YSRC official spokesperson P Murthy Yadav lodged a complaint with Arilova police on Sunday."We demand the police to immediately arrest Vizag East MLA V Ramakrishna Babu and the TDP men, who have been organising the bloodsport. On Sunday, the MLA participated in the cockfight," Yadav said.
