leaders along with members of the women’s wing of the party took out protests across the city condemning TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu for allegedly blocking the capital decentralisation bill in the council.
Senior YSRCP leaders Malla Vijaya Prasad,
Vamsi Krishna Srinivas
and KK Raju took out
protest rallies in different parts of the city. The protesters also burnt an effigy of the TDP chief alleging that he was against the development of Visakhapatnam city and district.
Vamsi Krishna Srinivas in his address at the protest rally in Maddilapalem condemned the TDP MLAs of Visakhapatnam for doing injustice to the city.
The protest rally at Maddilapalem Junction was taken out under the aegis of women’s wing leader G Gowri. Lashing out Naidu, she said, “ He is a traitor as far as north Andhra is concerned. The TDP chief’s bias against north Andhra is quite obvious.” The women protesters also burnt an effigy of the TDP chief.
In the Visakhapatnam north legislative constituency, YSRCP leader K K Raju led the protests.
