Youth’s death sparks protest

Visakhapatnam: Commuters on Vizag-Araku road near S Kota in Vizianagaram district witnessed a traffic jam on Monday as protesters blocked the road and staged a protest with a body in front of S Kota police station, demanding action against the accused. A youth, K Kiran (24), a resident of S Kota town, committed suicide apparently after a dispute with his neighbours over a petty issue on Saturday. Kiran was found unconscious and was shifted to KG Hospital in Vizag city, where he died on Sunday night while undergoing treatment. Kiran’s kin staged a protest in front of the police station with the body demanding action against the accused. The protesters left after the cops assured them of action. TNN
