Visakhapatnam: Five cricketers including the manager of the Baroda senior women’s T20 cricket team were injured in an accident on the way to Vizag airport. They were shifted to a hospital.
According to Kancharapalem CI, the accident occurred at Reddy Kancharapalem on NH-16 when the cricket team’s bus hit a lorry. The lorry driver applied sudden brake after seeing a motorist suddenly stop his bike.

The bus driver could not control the bus and hit the lorry. Team manager Neelam Gupte, players Kesha Patel, Amrita Joseph, Pragya Rawat and Nidhi Dhamuniya were injured and shifted to a private hospital where doctors said that they were out of danger. Kancharapalem cops registered a case.
