70-year-old prof found dead in his flat in Bithoor
A 70-year-old associate professor at a private medical college in Kanpur was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his flat. The deceased, identified as Prem Sahni, was found with froth coming out of his mouth. The police have initiated an investigation, and the cause of death will be determined after a postmortem examination. Sahni had been appearing stressed in recent days. In a separate incident, seven students from Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal have been booked for allegedly ragging and beating a second-year student. The college denies the ragging claims.

Police in Sambalpur are investigating the discovery of a 62-year-old man's body and an unconscious 57-year-old woman in a forest. The incident was brought to light when locals went into the forest to collect leaves for a celebration. The man's death is suspected to have occurred at least two days prior, and it is believed that he may have been struck by lightning or bitten by a snake. The woman's identity has yet to be determined, and she is currently unable to provide a statement.
