Vizag Steel Plant felicitates Indian team cricketer KS Bharat

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Vizag Steel Plant (VSP) CMD Atul Bhatt along with other directors and chief vigilance officer felicitated cricketer KS Bharat at the plant on Monday on his elevation to the Indian Test Cricket Team.


Atul Bhatt appreciated the hard work put in by KS Bharat which brought him honour to be in the Indian National Cricket squad. Bharat, who resides in Visakhapatnam practices occasionally in Colnol CK Nayudu Ukku Stadium of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.

Bharat said that the Ukkunagaram cricket ground has the right pitch with right bounce and the clean and pleasant environment provides the right ambiance for the players to focus on their practice without any disturbance.

Atul Bhatt and the directors also felicitated Bharat’s coach J Krishna Rao on the occasion. It may be noted that J. Krishna Rao is the only level-3 coach (the highest level in India) from Andhra Pradesh.

MS Kumar, former GM (Sports), RINL on his appointment as General Manager (GM) of Game Development of the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) was also felicitated by the dignitaries on the occasion.

Directors DK Mohanty (Commercial), AK Bagchi (Projects and Additional Charge Director Operations), Dr. S.C.Pandey (Personnel) and Chief Vigilance Officer Dr S Karuna Raju, RINL, Dr.KH Prakash, CGM (Medical & Health Services), VSGH, Der. KH Prakash also felicitated the sportsmen on the occasion.
