Visakhapatnam: Police seize Rs 1 crore cash, 29 kgs silver and 100 kgs of ganja

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Greater Visakhapatnam City Police seized Rs. One crore cash, 29 kgs silver and 100 kgs of ganja in three different cases.
According to Disha Police Station ACP and taskforce in charge ACP Prem Kajol, Taskforce and SEB personnel conducted checking at lodges in Allipura area. They found unaccounted cash of Rs. one crore in the presence of local police and arrested Bhaath Kumar Raj Purohit (30) and Chhota Ram (30).
Taskforce and SEB cops conducted raids on lodges and seized 29.419 kgs of Silver from Himmath Singh Rathod (35) and Sohan Singh (23). The duo was arrested in a lodge in Allipuram area.
On reliable information, cops from Duvvada Police Station and special enforcement bureau (SEB) personnel conducted raid at Rajeevnagar Board area close to Duvvada Railway Bridge and caught 100 kgs of ganja and Toyota Innova car by arresting two persons U Subba Reddy and J Gaurav (25).
