Civil Engineering win weigtlifting title Civil Engineering department won the weightlifting team title in the annual inter-departmental Sports Mela of ECoRSA, Waltair. They logged 18 points after winning three gold and two silver medals. Diesel Loco Shed (14 points, two gold and one bronze) were runners-up. Officers XI beat Stores XI by 131 runs in a quarterfinal of the cricket tournament. Haranath Mopuri (98 runs) of the Officers XI was ‘Man of the Match’.
TT players felicitated
Twenty five players and their coaches from Visakhapatnam, who have participated in various National championships, were felicitated by the Visakhapatnam District Table Tennis Association here on Sunday as part of the World TT Day.
