Visakhapatnam: V Vijayasai Reddy writes to AICTE against Gitam

has complained to All India Council for Technical Education chairman Anil Sahasrabuddi against alleged violations by

Gitam university

.


He requested the AICTE to constitute an enquiry committee to check the violations and also examine whether the varsity complied with the norms and standards specified by the statutory body. The district revenue department has claimed that Gitam has encroached upon 40.51 acres of government land and constructed some of its academic buildings in it. The authorities also demolished a few structures including the boundary wall 10 days ago.
