Trials for women cricketers

Visakhapatnam: The ACA and the Cricket Association of YSR District, Kadapa are jointly conducting trials at the YSRR-ACA stadium, Kadapa on Sunday morning to select women cricketers. Selected players will be eligible to attend a three-year camp conducted by the Beyond Coaching organisation in Hyderabad. Former Indian captain Ravi Shastri, Bharat Arun and R Sridhar are involved with the Beyond Coaching.Their representatives would witness the trials at Kadapa on Sunday, which is the first step in the selection process to be held in Andhra area. Trials will also be held in Vijayawada on Sunday, followed by trials at Kakinada on March 26 and at Visakhapatnam and Anantapur on April 2.
