Training on ocean observation

Visakhapatnam: The five-day training programme on ‘ocean observation systems and models towards OSF, coastal dynamics and PFZ’ commenced at AU on Monday. It is being jointly organised by Indian National Centre for Ocean Information services (INCOIS), AU and National Institute of Oceanography at CSBOB. The programme is structured and sponsored by INCOIS to impart experience on various aspects of characterising and forecasting the ocean state for benefit of navigation, ocean and coastal operations and identification of potential fishing zones.tnn
