VISAKHAPATNAM: Paderu police of Alluri Sitarama Raju district rescued an eight-day-old girl from a suspected human trafficking gang.


Police said the baby girl’s mother, who is a native of Tumpada village under Paderu mandal, claimed that she was unable to feed the baby due to poverty and gave her over to

Members of Child Line came to know about the illegal adoption and visited Gunavathi, only to find that the couple had sold the baby girl to one M Surya Prakash.
