VISAKHAPATNAM: The secretary of Industries and Commerce of AP, Dr N Yuvraj, suggested the formulation of a Working Joint committee between all stakeholders to kick-start the State Strategic vision, roadmap, and implementation plans for clean investment and low carbon pathways in energy-intensive industries and others.

A joint regional workshop on Driving Port Led Clean Growth in AP: Navigating Clean Investment and Low-Carbon Pathways in Energy Intensive Industries, Renewable Energy Industries, and Hard-to-Abate Sectors was organized here on Saturday.

While addressing the gathering, OSD of Ministry of Finance A Karthikeya said that a clean energy skilling university would come up in the state to accelerate the clean energy skilling expertise in the state.

C H Rajeswara Reddy, State Industries, Commerce and Export Promotion Commissioner suggested the industrial policy, and incentive support along AP’s industrial corridors.

The inaugural session had senior government officials from the state govt energy department, industries department, AP Maritime Board, APIIC, ADB Water, Urban and Energy Departments.
