VISAKHAPATNAM: Cops of Alluri Seetharama Raju district claimed that they have rescued six tribal people including two kids from the clutches of drug traders in Maharashtra. Pangi Kesava alais Podnu of Ebulam Kummari Veedhi village lodged a complaint with police claiming that his elder brother Pangi Govardhan, his sister-in-law Dhana Lakshmi and their child Sandeep (2), Kesav’s wife Yasodha and his son Tarun (4) were kidnapped by a businessman Subhash Anna Pawar of Maharashtra after Govardhan failed to supply him ganja. An FIR was registered for wrongful restraint,slavery and criminal intimidation, following which police sent a team and rescued the confined persons.
