SI, 3 constables get jail for torture

Visakhapatnam: Additional chief metropolitan magistrate Chadalavada Yugandhar sentenced a sub-inspector and three constables of Fourth Town Law and Order station to one-year rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine for torturing a tribal man and causing serious injuries to him. The magistrate earlier convicted the then SI of Fourth Town Police station BB Ganesh, constables A Ganesh, T Santosh Kumar, and PVV Ramakrishna. The victim is A Chandrasekhar Rao of Old Dairy Farm at Adarshnagar. TNN
