Several express trains cancelled, six diverted

Visakhapatnam: Several express and special trains were cancelled on the Visakhapatnam- Vijayawada section due to safety works being carried out in the Vijayawada Division of the South-Central Railway. Around 10 express or special trains were canceled, and another six trains were diverted.The Railways informed that train no. 07466 Rajahmundry-Visakhapatnam passenger special leaving Rajahmundry, train no. 07467 Visakhapatnam-Rajahmundry passenger special leaving Visakhapatnam, train train no. 17239 Guntur- Visakhapatnam Simhadri Express leaving Guntur from September 18 to September 24 were cancelled. Other trains including train No. 17240 Visakhapatnam-Guntur Simhadri Express leaving Visakhapatnam were cancelled from September 19 to September 25. Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada-Visakhiapatnam (train no. 22701 and No 22702) Uday Express was cancelled from both ends from September 18 to 20, 22 and also September 23. Another express Guntur-Rayagada-Guntur (train no.17243 and 17244) train was cancelled on September 18 and 19, and September 24 and 25. The Machilipatnam-Visakhapatnam-Machilipanam (train no.17219 and 17220) express train was cancelled from September 18 to September 25. Apart from this, a few trains would run in a diverted route via Nidadavolu- Bhimavaram town- Gudivada-Vijayawada instead of the regular route Nidadavolu-Eluru-Vijayawada.

Many Express trains cancelled on Vizag-Vijayawada section from September 18

Several express and special trains on the Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada section have been cancelled due to safety works in the Vijayawada Division of the South-Central Railway. Around 10 trains were cancelled and 6 others were diverted. The cancellations include Rajahmundry-Visakhapatnam Passenger Special, Guntur-Visakhapatnam Simhadri Express, and Visakhapatnam-Guntur Simhadri Express. The Uday Express, Guntur-Rayagada-Guntur Express, and Machilipatnam-Visakhapatnam-Machilipatnam Express were also cancelled. Several trains will be diverted via a different route during this period.

Trains cancelled

The South Central Railway has announced the cancellation of two trains due to safety maintenance work. Train No. 17329 and Train No. 17330 will be cancelled for a few days in September 2023. In other news, RK Patil has been chosen as the Entrepreneur of the Year by the KLS Institute of Management Education and Research. Patil is the CEO and co-founder of Vayavya Labs and has extensive experience in the semiconductor software industry. The South Western Railway has been recognized as the best performing railway zone and is focused on redevelopment projects and improving passenger amenities.

IIM Visakhapatnam launches training program for HSL managers

The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam has launched a five-day management development program for mid-level managers at Hindustan Shipyard Limited. The program aims to enhance managers' knowledge of evolving management concepts, practices, perspectives, and approaches. The program was attended by 23 managers from HSL, with the general manager of HSL, N Ashok Kumar, delivering the inaugural address. IIM Visakhapatnam, known for its prestigious reputation, aims to nurture and develop entrepreneurial leaders. The program director, Prof. Balaji Subramanian, provided an overview of the training modules and expected outcomes.
