Ruthvik, Yamuna win chess titles

Visakhapatnam: M Venkata Ruthvik (6.5 points out of seven) and Yamuna M (five out of five) won the open and women’s titles in the district seniors’ selections on Sunday. Vamsi Krishna R (6), Venkatesh Atta (6) and M Santosh Krishna (6) who secure the second, third and fourth places among the men and Bhandavika Thota (4), Yamini T (4) and Ruhika Vidwana M (3.5), who finished second, third and fourth in the women’s competition, would represent the district in the state championship.Shoaib to lead Anantapur Shoaib Md.
