HYDERABAD: In what could come as a relief to AP chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the CBI court here on Wednesday refused to cancel the bail granted to him and YSRC Rajya Sabha MP V Vijaya Sai Reddy in the quid pro quo case.


Principal special judge BR Madhusudhan Rao pronounced this order in the two cases filed by rebel YSRC MP K Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, who sought cancellation of the bail to Jagan and Vijaya Sai. The two were named as accused in the 11 chargesheets filed by the CBI in the quid pro quo case.

In a separate case, Justice K Lakshman of the Telangana high court also dismissed a petition filed by Raju, seeking transfer of his two bail cancellation pleas to another competent court from the CBI court.
