Polycet concludes successfully in Visakhapatnam

) 2019 was conducted in various centres across the city on Tuesday without any untoward incident. Thousands of applicants with their parents thronged the examination centres early on Tuesday morning.

The city police had imposed Section 144 at all the centres. About 19,000 candidates from Visakhapatnam appeared for the examination in 48 centres in the district. Students who pass the test will be eligible for admission to diploma courses at various government and private polytechnic colleges in the state.

The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) operated special buses on Tuesday to exam centres for the convenience of students.
