Navy chief reviews IFR preparations

VISAKHAPATNAM: Indian Navy Chief Admiral RK Dhowan visited the venues of the International Fleet Review (IFR) in the city and naval premises on Thursday to review the preparations.
The Navy chief was briefed by Eastern Naval Command chief Vice Admiral Satish Soni on the activities being undertaken by the Navy and the civil administration for the mega international event that is scheduled to be held in the city from February 4, 2016.The Indian Navy chief is on a two-day visit to the Eastern Naval Command and is scheduled to depart from Visakhapatnam on Friday.
